LYNNE GODLIEN, BA (Journalism)
Chief Operating Officer
As Interim CEO and Director of Marketing and Communications Lynne provides leadership to the company’s various service lines and teams, and oversees all marketing and communications initiatives for Perennia, leading the overall communications, marketing and graphic design needs for the company’s four divisions. She also manages special projects and corporate events and is responsible for the daily technology and IT needs of the company.
Lynne’s previous positions have included Director of Communications for the Nova Scotia Department of Education, Manager of Communications for the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture and Senior Communications Officer/Speechwriter for Saskatchewan Justice.
She was marketing, media and programme director for Agrifest in 2004 and 2006 and is plays a key role in developing the programming schedule for workshops and events at Perennia, as well as developing the corporate evaluation/feedback process.
Lynne has a Journalism degree from Carleton University, an Executive Certificate in Marketing from St. Mary’s University, a Certificate in Adult Education from Dalhousie University and a Certificate in Marketing Strategy from Cornell University.
