Wanda is the Administrative Assistant at the Perennia Innovation Centre, located in Bible Hill. She can also be found in the Fundy office, from time to time. Besides being the first point of contact at the Centre, she does a variety of administrative duties, including secretarial support and ensures that equipment and office supplies are maintained. Wanda enjoys the challenge of something different every day and occasionally that something different is assisting in the Pilot Plant, bottling or preparing products for processing. With several years of customer service experience, she has a pleasant and professional manner, which is extended to the clients, team, tenants and visitors to all locations.
Wanda is the “go to” person at the Innovation Centre to obtain that “special touch” required on a document to make it stand out just a little. In addition to her document processing abilities, she uses her organization skills to help coordinate the boardroom function related to catering requirements for clients, tenants, government departments and organizations including lunch and learn seminars, food safety training, and board meetings.
In 2014, Wanda graduated from the Office Administration Program at the Nova Scotia Community College in Truro after completing her five week work placement with Perennia, and now utilizes all of the skills obtained. She also graduated from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College simultaneously with Technician and Technology Diplomas, then went on to study International Business at the NSCC, completing two work placements, one with Stella Jones and the other with the Colchester Regional Development Agency. Wanda also brings knowledge of the beef, sheep, and dairy industries to her work at Perennia.
