Stewart J Lamont

Stewart Lamont is the Managing Director of Tangier Lobster Company. He has been an exporter of premium quality live lobster to the international marketplace since 1981. Tangier is a coastal community on Nova Scotia’s Eastern Shore, and Tangier Lobster is a niche supplier to demanding clients in 21 countries around the globe. (www.tangierlobster.com)

Lamont is a three-time graduate of Dalhousie University, with a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Law, and a master’s in public administration. He was a founding member of the Lobster Council of Canada and is a Board member of the Nova Scotia Seafood Alliance. He is passionate about the export potential of Nova Scotia in general, and the seafood sector. He writes and publicly presents extensively on a variety of lobster related topics. He also publishes a weekly commentary entitled the “Front Lines Lobster Report”.
