SESSION DESCRIPTION
CanadaGAP is a GFSI-recognized food safety program developed to promote Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) for Fresh Fruit and Vegetable suppliers who produce, pack and store and Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP programs for repackers and wholesalers. CanadaGAP have released version 10.0 of the Food Safety Manuals which take effect on April 1, 2023, for certification purposes. Perennia is partnering with Kim Best from Prospect Agri-Services to offer three virtual CanadaGAP training workshops outlining these new updates.
This first workshop, Advanced CanadaGAP will primarily cover new updates released in the CanadaGAP manuals version 10.0.
To qualify for the advanced ½ day workshop session the farm must have been certified for 3 years AND the participant in this workshop is the farm representative that participated in those audits.

CanadaGAP Auditor & Trainer, Prospect Agri-ServicesÂ
Kim Best, Prospect Agri-Services. Kim Best is an Auditor and Trainer on the CanadaGAP food safety program and has been involved with the program since its inception in 2006. Kim has extensive agronomic experience from over 30 years of horticultural crop research and conducts many annual audits in horticulture as well as livestock commodities.
