Speakers: Jennifer Foster and Katie Goldenhar

Jennifer Foster is the Agronomic Services Manager at Syngenta. Prior to her current position she was the Global Technical Manager for Fungicides for Syngenta.  She brings a wealth of knowledge and real-world experience to understanding how fungicides can be used to manage disease.

Katie Goldenhar is a Horticulture Pathologist at OMAFRA. She specializes in identification, detection, and management of plant diseases, and verifies and validates new disease management techniques and technology for the Ontario Horticulture Industry.

Description: In this session, entitled Fundamentals of Fungicides, Dr. Jen Foster and Dr. Katie Goldenhar will review the differences between the types of fungicides to enable growers to formulate a strategy to better control specific diseases that are encountered in their crop.
