This event is being held as part of the On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF) program. The goals of the program are to encourage on-farm sequestration of carbon and reduction in greenhouse gases through the implementation of improved nitrogen management, enhanced cover crop adoption, and the normalization of rotational grazing. Session Description
Join us for a webinar from KITE Consulting to learn about their commitments in reducing carbon footprints throughout the dairy supply chain, on-farm management, and agronomic impacts on GHG emissions, and drivers in genetics, fertility, herd health and nutrition.
About Kite
KITE Consulting is a UK based consulting agency which focuses on the sustainability of the Dairy supply chain through technical, business, environmental and people development. They serve dairy producers, co-operatives, milk and meat processors, retailers and restaurants in increasing productivity while lowering carbon footprints through education and implementation. KITES goal is to decrease the carbon footprint of the dairy supply chain while increasing animal welfare, financial resiliency and overall prosperity for farmers and suppliers while reducing GHG emissions. Â
