Vegetable Specialist (Acting)
Caitlin is excited to be taking on the role of Vegetable Specialist during Rosalie’s maternity leave. She has been a research associate with Perennia since 2016 and is looking forward to working with growers in a new capacity. Caitlin is a resource for producers on all aspects of vegetable production.
Caitlin has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the former Nova Scotia Agricultural College, where she majored in Plant Science and minored in Pest Management. Before joining Perennia, Caitlin worked as a research associate for the Nova Scotia Crop Development Institute. Her background in agriculture comes from a long family history of farming, supported by her work experience on both crop and livestock farms. She has hands-on experience in all stages of cropping as well as with dairy cattle and hogs.
