Climate Change Intern
Katelyn is the Climate Change Intern at Perennia and the Climate Adaptation Leadership Program (CALP). She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in Environmental Science from Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Agriculture in 2020 and again with a Certificate in Environmental Biology in 2021. Before working with Perennia, Katelyn spent 12 years in the 4H program and more than six seasons working in various agricultural settings, including on an apple farm, a beef farm and with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada aiding with forage crop trials. She has experience working with fruit crops (raspberries and apples), forage crops (red clover, kura clover, alsike clover, birdsfoot trefoil, alfalfa and sainfoin) and raising beef calves.
