ERIN BOUTILIER
Program Administration Officer
Through researching, developing, administering and evaluating programs in response to the identified needs of client groups, Erin provides assistance to create business growth and value chain developments with Atlantic bioresources to support developing the bio-economy for the Atlantic Region.
Erin’s role includes administrative oversight of the daily operations at the Perennia Innovation Centre, identifying and administering eligible provincial and federal funding programs for client access, leasing of space and facilitative support for start-up and established companies seeking to incubate and commercialize agricultural and marine based products. Her duties include monitoring of contracts of services, office, financial administration and special events planning.
Prior to joining Perennia, Erin was employed at the Atlantic BioVenture Centre (an operating division of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College) as a Project Officer overseeing funded research projects relating to value chain developments and technology transfer within the agrifood and marine sectors.
With a unique skillset including proficient knowledge in the legislation, regulations, policies and procedures for program development; office administration and an understanding of the economic, cultural and political environment, Erin is part of the talented team at the Perennia Innovation Centre which includes the Chief Science Officer, Food Scientist, Process and Product Development Coordinator, Research Associate, Pilot Plant Coordinator, Research Development Assistant and Administrative Assistant.
