Manager of Seafood

Ashley Sprague has recently joined Perennia’s seafood team in the position of Seafood Development Specialist.  Ashley will be focusing on industry outreach, product development and project management.  Ashley was most recently employed as Coastal Coordinator with the Nova Scotia’s Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture.

Ashley Sprague is a coastal biologist with over 12 years of experience in marine and coastal research, policy, conservation planning, and climate change adaptation.   She has extensive experience with community and industry consultation and believes that building meaningful partnerships with stakeholders is essential to generating high impact projects, developing innovative ideas and solving problems collaboratively.  Ashley is very excited to be working with Nova Scotia’s growing seafood industry to help companies identify opportunities for business growth and diversification.
