She is an advocate for public policy that is holistic with the aim of ensuring a more equitable future. Senator Drakes currently has legislative purview of matters related to economic development, climate change and sustainable development, and is a Co-Founder of BlueGreen Initiative Inc. a research driven non-profit organization aimed at executing sustainability projects in the Caribbean, among many other accomplishments.
