
Dr. Weixi Shu
Dr. Weixi Shu is a graduate of Dalhousie University Faculty of Engineering with a background in soil science, agriculture, and sustainable environmental management. His long-term research interests involve the development of comprehensive models of carbon, nitrogen, and contaminant cycling and transport in soil and water. In 2020, Dr. Shu participated in a Mitacs Accelerate Lab2Market Entrepreneur program to explore the commercial potential of an integrated heat and carbon dioxide capture and recycling system that provides a sustainable solution to enhance plant production in the controlled environment agriculture. Currently, Dr. Shu is a McCain Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow Scholar at the Dalhousie University Faculty of Agriculture. Â
