
Dr. Hector Jaldo
Dr. Hector Jaldo grew up on a berry farm in Tucuman, Argentina before obtaining his Agriculture Doctor degree. He was Director of Horticulture Department in Obispo Colombres Experimental Station where he worked in support to the berry industry in develop new varieties and pest control. Ten years ago, he moved to Nova Scotia to work for Vital Berry Farms/Nova Agri Group as their hydroponic crop development manager, managing strawberries and long cane raspberries in a high tunnel facility.Â
