David Blanchard

David Blanchard and his wife, Cindy Rubinfine, own and operate Pleasant Hill Farm, a certified organic vegetable farm located in Pleasant River, Nova Scotia, selling locally through farmer's markets, store and restaurants. he production area consists of 2 acres of intensive outdoor cropping and seven greenhouses. In addition to fifty years of practical experience working in agriculture, David has a BSc in Biology and keeps up to date on the latest research on greenhouse production, sustainable soil management, and biological pest control.
