Dr. Fred Whitford, Director, Purdue Pesticide Programs 

Fred Whitford, Director of Purdue Pesticide Programs, has served as the Director of the Purdue Pesticide Program since 1991. He has authored over 300 publications, including eight books and 120 extension bulletins and delivered 5,900 presentations. In recognition of his significant contributions to Extension outreach efforts, he has received numerous awards, including the Frederick L. Hovde Award of Excellence in Educational Service to Rural People of Indiana, Honorary Master Farmer by Indiana Prairie Farmer and the Purdue University College of Agriculture.
