Danny Small, Manager, Sector Development & Innovation
An employee of the Province of Nova Scotia since 2009, Danny Small has represented various Departments including the former Economic & Rural Development & Tourism, Labour & Advanced Education and the Department of Agriculture. Prior to joining the Province of Nova Scotia, Danny worked in the food distribution industry in a corporate finance capacity and as a business analyst for a small business lending corporation. Danny graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick and received a Diploma in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship from the Dr. J. Herbert Smith Centre of UNB. Danny has received extensive training in continuous improvement and lean techniques and has over 15 years experience working in business and community development.

Dan Rafuse, Commercial Lead, North America, Muddy Boots by TELUS Agriculture
After spending 10 years in the food industry working across both supply chain and sales roles at SYSCO, Compass Group, and High Liner Foods, Dan joined TELUS Agriculture in 2020 to help enable the future of the food supply chain. Dan currently heads up commercial development for Muddy Boots in North America, working with organizations to unpack supply chain challenges and Identify custom end to end solutions that enable greater visibility, trust, transparency, and sustainable practices across their supply chain. Dan holds a CSCMP Designation from Supply Chain Canada and Is focusing his MBA research on sustainable leadership & organizational change.
Kevin Ramm, Head of Sustainability, TELUS Agriculture
As Head of Sustainability at TELUS Agriculture Kevin owns the sustainability strategy and solution roadmap working closely with customers to understand their needs and find smart but practical ways to drive sustainability outcomes across the food supply chain. Kevin has 30 years’ experience delivering digital business solutions as an employee of Accenture, Deloitte, KPMG and SAP. He started his sustainability career 14 years ago with an initial specialization on carbon footprinting and sustainable supply chain and has since worked with multiple global brands designing and delivering software and data based sustainability solutions, been a key contributor to international carbon footprinting standards and co-authored the leading Scope 3 guidance publication. At The Carbon Trust he led a carbon footprinting team and was a core member of the team that delivered the first on-pack carbon labels on consumer products. Kevin has a Masters degree in Environmental Change and Management from Oxford University (Distinction).
