Perennia's Summer Tour and Open House

Session Description

We are pleased to invite you to our first summer tour and open house! Join us at our field research site to learn more about what our dedicated team of specialists and research technicians are working on this year.

You will have the chance to connect directly with Perennia team members, speak with them about their extension work and ask questions about field trials and demos. 

Members of our Quality Food Safety, Product Development, Funding Programs and Lab Services teams will also be on-site to speak about how they support the industry and what services they offer for producers.

1:00PM – 4:00PM
Perennia's Field Site, 6727 Brooklyn Street 

Water and snacks will be available. Buses will take guests around the 10-acre site and then back to the Field House at the end of the day. 

Agenda 

1:00 PM – meet at the Field House; introduction to the afternoon
1:15 PM – load onto the buses – first half of tour begins
2:30 PM – refreshments and social time – short overviews from Perennia's various teams as to how they can help you 
3:00 PM – second half of the tour 
4:00 PM – back at the Field House so people can head home 

During this event, you'll have the opportunity to visit many different types of trials, demonstrations and plots including performance, efficacy and variety trials as well as cover crops, pollinator and compaction demonstrations!
