This training session is intended for producers who have purchased weather stations from Perennia under the Nova Scotia Weather Station Assistance Program but is open to anyone who would like to learn more about weather stations and how they work. It will provide and overview of the Davis weather station components, basic maintenance and using the apps and software tools.

Thomas Harrington, Agriculture Technology Specialist

Thomas’ role at Perennia is to support and promote the adoption of agricultural technologies related to climate and crop management. Thomas is a Certified Crop Advisor and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from Dalhousie’s Faculty of Agriculture, where he majored in Integrated Environmental Management. Before joining Perennia, Thomas worked on Prince Edward Island in precision agriculture product sales and support, focusing on machine GPS guidance systems and data management.
