Session Description
Best suited for those just starting to better understand Canadian food labelling, this webinar will introduce attendees to the basics of Canadian food labelling under Federal regulations. Gary will explore a label showing a common name, net contents, ingredient list, allergen gluten and sulphite labelling, nutrition facts and dealer name and address. Additional labelling such as best before dates, storage and information will also be discussed. Attendees will be introduced to applicable legislation and the authorities that govern them. Along the way, Gary will also point out several essential compliance resources.
