Session Description
Canopy management is a vital practice in quality wine grape production. It directly influences grapevine health, fruit composition, and ultimately plays a key role in producing premium wine grapes with the desired balance of sugars, acids and phenolic compounds. Join Perennia’s Viticulture Specialist Katarina Vucic and Dr. Kevin Ker for an in-field workshop to learn how effective shoot thinning, leaf removal and shoot positioning are used to create an ideal canopy structure that supports uniform maturation and superior grape quality.
